FirstNet and AT&T Executives Visit Guam

Delivery of Official Notification Letter to Governor

FirstNet Chief Customer Officer Rich Reed and AT&T Vice President for State Outreach and Consultation Doug Clark were on Guam on December 13, 2017. While on Guam, they met with Governor Eddie Baza Calvo and delivered the official 90-day notification letter in regards to the build and deployment of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network. In addition, the two executives along with FirstNet Team members met with the executive committee of the Interoperable Communications Working Group to state their commitment to providing this network service to Guam upon the Governor's opt-in decision.

FirstNet and AT&T are commited to building and deploying a nationwide public safety broadband network that will provide reliable, interoperable, secured wireless broadband network services to first responders throughout the 56 states and territories.
